Why your university GPA can differ
A GEMSAS GPA summarises results from the qualifying study used for your medicine application. GEMSAS converts institutional grading scales and applies the relevant year weightings. Your university's own GPA may use a different scale or include different study.
Medical schools also apply their own rules about which study counts. You may therefore have more than one GEMSAS GPA. Check the current entry for each school rather than using one number for every preference.
