• Sounding rehearsed, with phrasing that falls apart on a follow-up question.
• Surface-level reflection with no specific detail.
• Jumping to the answer without acknowledging the people affected.
• Treating a role-play station like a speech rather than a conversation.

About the Birmingham medicine programme
