UQ GPA Overrides
UQ can treat specific completed key degrees as a deemed GPA. This is why a first-class Honours result can be strategically huge for UQ applicants.
| Qualification as key degree | UQ deemed GPA |
|---|---|
| Honours Class I | 7.00 |
| Honours Class IIA | 6.00 |
| Honours Class IIB | 5.00 |
| Honours Class III | 4.00 |

What Students Miss
The ACER overall score is not the score UQ uses. If Section 3 is carrying your weighted score, your UQ result can be weaker than expected. If S1 and S2 are strong, UQ may look better than your overall GAMSAT suggests.
